Every year my mum would make pineapple tarts for Chinese New Year. Be it for relatives or friends, she makes it a point to do it. My aunts would come over and make the tarts with her too! Since this year's CNY is earlier, my mum has already started work over the weekend!
Her masterpieces.
Her tarts never fail to receive compliments from people who have tried it out. After god-knows-how-many-years, her pineapple tarts are FOR SALE. I'm not kidding.
There's about 40-45 pineapple tarts in each container and it's priced at $28 for each container of tarts. The tarts can last for 1-2 months.
If you're wondering about the ratio of pineapple filling to pastry, TRUST ME, we don't like pineapple tarts which contains only 20% of pineapple filling. The ratio is equal. The pastry is not dry and "brittle" like what you get outside from the local confectionery stores or bakery.
(You guys know me, I never like food which 偷工减料.)
Sorry to disappoint you, no sampling of the tarts unless you wanna make your way to my house or meet me at my workplace which I really don't mind at all :)
If you're interested in getting the tarts, contact me ASAP! We don't accept last minute orders because like you guys, we want to enjoy our CNY too! :D
Mode of payment: Cash or local bank transfer or iBanking only.
Mode of collection: My place or my workplace. (Will let you know if you are placing an order.)
If the response is overwhelming, we might stop accepting orders because afterall we are still humans you know. *winks*
Thank you very much.
Psssst! I posted the photo above on fb yesterday and my colleague has placed his order today!! I didn't even state that it was for sale! No lie.
Ciao.
