My Christmas 2011

I know! It's 2012 and it's Chinese New Year!

This shows how much I have to blog! >.<

So let's get started.

As you know I moved into my new home recently, so this would be my first time celebrating Christmas here!

Photobucket

Chocolates and pen from various people! (Okay, I have to confess that none of them are mine but my brother 'gave' them to me willingly so I declare what you see above are mine.)

*coughs*

I spent my Christmas doing some volunteer work too. After work, we had a shuttle bus to Singapore Children's Society to spread the love!

Photobucket

Chicken croissant for snack! Just a little snack before dinner.

This turned out to be so delicious! It's from Delifrance! My colleague and I were hungry still so we grab another portion to share.

The children arrived and they were so hyperactive! Running around and screaming everywhere. We distributed gifts and some goodies to them. Okay, maybe I didn't really help out much because I'm not really good with kids. They can be quite scary you know. We had a list of programs for them, from games, carolling and to of course... my performance! I was asked if I wanted to perform for the children, and since it was the season of giving, so why not do something different this time for Christmas and perform for the children! :)

I decided to "Hoot" by Girls' Generation!

O.M.G.

I didn't expect the response to be so overwhelming. In case you didn't notice, they were screaming after I ended my performance. (Quick! Go replay!)

They were shouting "Encore! Encore! Encore!"

I felt like a celebrity already.
Totally.

I wanted to do another dance for them, *coughs* this was impromptu okay. I only prepared "Hoot" but of course if you were to ask me to dance on the spot, I can do it but it was a pity that the kids had to head to bed.

So, no encore.

:(

Towards the end of the program, the kids were asked to stand beside their favourite volunteers and..... SO MANY CAME RUNNING TOWARDS ME! NO LIE. And we sang one last song together before we went home.

My company celebrated Christmas too! :D

Log cakes!

Photobucket

Argh, didn't had the chance to have a bite because I was busy helping out scooping the ice-cream or rather giving out ice-cream cones. Ice-cream frozen like a block so it was pretty hard to scoop! T.T

Photobucket

But nonetheless, I got my portion of the main course!

So on Christmas day!

I gave mum and bro presents! :D

Photobucket

SEPHORA's body wash and cream/lotion for mummy and Canon coffee cup for bro!

Bro's present looks like this:

Comparison between the lens and the cup!

AWESOME RIGHT.

I KNOW.

"Thanks everybody, thanks!" *doing the Barbarella hand action*

Bro placed the cup on his office desk the next day!

On boxing day, my colleagues and I were invited to my manager's house!

Photobucket

Chocolate cakes that Lydia made!

It's completely covered in chocolate. Like everywhere.

I like.

There were other food like Popeye's, KFC and fried bee hoon as well!

YUM.

That's me playing with the Xbox!

Rock band drum set!

At the balcony!

Windy, 24/7.

(Sorry for the sleepy look, I went for dance lesson in the morning before I went to my manager's house. @.@)

Photobucket

Scenery during the day.

The buildings and people looked so puny from where we were.

Photobucket

Night time!

Here's a peek at my kitchen!

Decorated during Christmas!

DO YOU LOVE THE WALLPAPER?

Machiam 3D effect, I know right!

And everyone who came and including my family says that the dining area was very cosy, like what you would see in a cafe.

Psssst. The dining light can be adjusted just by a touch of a finger.

Byeeee!
