Thewoman

Edna Sze

I'm 18 already!

10 August 1991 I had my first gasp of air.

Year 2 in Republic Polytechnic.

I absolutely have the passion for dancing, I do tap/modern/jazz and hip hop!

What's next?!

I love shopping and eating.

When I used the word love, I do mean it.

My friends are stunned by my big appetite.

Well, it's not that I eat a lot, just usually more than a normal human being does :)

If you happily chance onto this blog, behold this could be just your lucky day.

What I Want :)

Meet Derrick Hoh(again!), Jolin Tsai, Tyra Banks and Ellen Degeneres!

I'm not really in need of any clothes or what but but more wouldn't be any trouble at all!

I'd love to see my wardrobe explode :D

Of course, I would love to travel around the world and visit interesting and unique places!

I'd like to continue to learn tap dancing again. Oh, I realised I love almost all sorts of dance.

Dances that I want to accomplish:

花蝴蝶-蔡依林
睁一只眼闭一只眼- 蔡依林
一支独秀- 罗志祥
精舞门 - 罗志祥
玩酷- 潘伟伯
双人舞- 潘伟伯

Judging from the title of this entry...

YUP!

ABSOLUTELY NO ERROR! I WENT TO THE DANCE CLASS CONDUCTED BY DERRICK,何維健, HIMSELF!

Morning, I woke up feeling excited and all. I didn't had my breakfast! HAHA! I know, some of you might be very surprised over this fact but REALLY IT'S TRUE I DIDN'T HAD MY BREAKFAST!

I only ate the peanut butter biscuits! ONLY 1 PACKET! There's only 2 pathetic biscuits inside!

Alright, so I got ready and all....

10.45am I went out of the house and started my journey to Ngee Ann Poly. I took bus 27 to Hougang Interchange and switched over to take bus 151 to NP. The journey was rather long, about 45minutes from Hougang Int. Hmmmm, perhaps there wasn't much expressway so I found it rather long. Usually when I go to school the timing is about the same but it's expressway all the way.

Alighted from the bus and called a friend to ask where is the lesson held at which block and what level.

Got the info and carried on with the journey. The side gates were closed! And, NP is located in an area whereby there is like no straight paths as in you need to walk upwards, like climbing to the top of a hill like that you know! I was panting! Seriously, very hard to walk!

I found the block and went to meet the people.

Well, waited quite a while for the class to commence. It started around 1.20pm!

Wah, stepped into the room and SAW DERRICK!

Everyone was like so exicted and high!

Hahaha!

I stood in the front row!

Seriously!!!

He's handsome!

OMG!

So he slowly taught us the moves for 無法歸類, the chorus part.

Well, you can say I was quite disappointed because I was expecting him to teach the whole dance!

Eh, the chorus is only a very small part =3

I think I picked up quite fast and he complimented me!

" Ni tiao de hen hao."

Eh, he didn't say that to everyone lah.

He even asked for my name!

"Edna."

HAHAHA!

Hopefully, he remembers my name!

He's a really funny guy. Really, you can tell his personality from his videos on youtube and those interview sessions. He's really friendly and cute!

For the finale, he asked 3 people for each try to stand infront and dance. Haha, well that was expected because I've experienced that before.

After we performed, he hi-5-ed each and everyone of us!

Had some videos taken by Channel U reporter and photos taken too! :DD

Oh! If you guys see news about the dance class, please do tell me because I've yet to watch it yet!

OMG.

I'm lazy to type every details out, pardon me!

So if you want to know more, school re-open on Wednesday then ask me!

TATA!

:D

And, I make my mark.

10:15 PM

HELLO!

Yup, as some of you know...

I WENT TO DERRICK VERY FIRST AUTOGRAPH SESSION!

I reached like 9am?

!@#$%^&*

FC people were late lah because they went and collect the fc tees.

Blah blah blah...

Made some new friends there and boy the waiting time was absolutely terrible. 6 hours leh!

CAN DIE YOU KNOW!

Seriously in the morning, there wasn't many people. Still able to count ah.

=(

Everyone kept saying, "Wait Derrick sad, how?"

Haha.

But, nearing to like 1-3pm, more and more people came in lah! Overwhelming!

Cannot count how people were there already lah!

HAHAHA!

Took a few pictures with my new found friends, but the photos aren't with me yet. I know you all anticpating for it, but really sorry!

OKAY!

3.15pm!

START!

The emcee was Chong Qing from Y.E.S. 93.3!

WELCOMES DERRICK, 何維健!!!!!

*everyone screams*

Funny guy, can tell he's very experienced after countless times of autograph session.

Okay! Sing song!

無法歸類 was the first song!!!

He sang pretty well you know! It was purely LIVE and there wasn't any tricks or whatsoever.

Really, it was LIVE.

Don't believe?

Go and bloody die lah you, idiotic moron.

The 2nd song was 你走天橋我走地下道!

No video found yet!

Third song was 咬字!

Cute lah! He sang the song!!!!

Though could tell he was nervous and all, but it was quite job well done! Eh, considering this is the very first time he is holding this autograph session, is already superb! He just needs more experiences, that's all. And I'm sure there will be many more opportunities to come!

He deserves 2 thumbs up!

YAY!

Of course, there were intervals between each song.

Oh ya!

I forgot to add!

You know, while waiting for the boring horrendous 6 hours to pass by.

WARNER music called me!

You know what?

GUESS!!!!!

I WAS SELECTED WAS THE DANCE CLASS ON SUNDAY WHICH IS TODAY WITH DERRICK HIMSELF TEACHING US THE DANCE 無法歸類!!!!!

HOHOHO!

SUPER DUBER UBER HAPPY LAH!

5 people from the FC got chosen!

Only 10 people out of ALL those who signed up online were going to get selected!

IT MADE MY DAY LAH!

OKAY!

Interview session with Derrick by of course the emcee.

Autograph session time!

Wooooo! I was like among the 10 to got the autograph lah!

Because joining the fc means having priority over the rest and therefore we are able to stand in the front row! All the blue colour tee people.

I know some fans were not happy over this matter, but WHO CARES?

There was a booth set up for those fans who wanted to join the FC! Quite a number of people signed up! Haha!

Muhahaha, I'm not going to put the picture with the autograph by Derrick himself on my album!

LET YOU ALL JEALOUS A BIT!

XD

The picture below is 1 of the banner the fc made!

Shuai ba?

=)

After the session and all, went to Bugis and met mummy and aunt etc. I took bus 190 down and the journey was alright. Luckily I got manage to get a seat, my back was aching all over! I need a seat badly and I was lucky! If not I would be whinning here and by the time you people finish reading this entry, you all will be fast asleep already!

Met up with them and went to those shop houses which sell food lah, DUH and had dinner!

It's near Indulgz lah, but I'm unsure of the address.

Thereafter, went to take the DHL balloon! My aunt got tickets so my mom and I woah... really zhuan dao! Sorry to Michelle jie, cousin, if I had stolen your tickets! Because the first few times they went, it rained and my aunt and her family including Michelle jie couldn't go up.

UP UP UP WE GO!

At first, the whole thing was quite unstable but after we rose to the top, which is 40 storey high, it was quite stable already! Not scary! Really, I didn't felt a tiny winy bit scared, but I seriously have no idea why people fear. Well, maybe because they have a phobia of heights?

Aunt and uncle!

Mummy and me!

Bottom view of the DHL balloon!

SMILE!

Nice right, this picture? =)

Mummy and me after the ride!

Mummy and aunt!

To be honest, the ride was less than 10 minutes! An adult ticket, above 12 years old cost $23! Not worth it!!! Don't go unless you got lobang! Or if you have too much money to spare, then it's up to you! ^^

Overall, I really enojyed my day!

Oh!

AND!

Derrick was super friendly! Every fan who went up for the autograph, he said "Hello!" with a smile and "xie xie" after signing and after the photo taken!

YES, YOU DIDN'T SEE WRONGLY.

PICTURE TAKEN!

Each and every fan who went up had a picture taken with Derrick! Yes, including me!

BUT!

The pictures will come out in a D-Project.

Which I assume and most probaly be in the gai ban CD!

The gai ban version should consists the MVs shot in Taiwan, all 4 songs and of course the photos taken today!

WARNER MUSIC IS VERY GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I shall give them 2 thumbs up!

*2 thumbs up*

:D

I ENOJYED THE WHOLE DAY TODAY!

And, I make my mark.

Look out for bloodfest91, that's me! ^^

And, I make my mark.

3:48 PM

ERROR!

NONO, you can't see it on channel u.

^^

He's going to sing next!

And, I make my mark.

2:10 PM

Woooo!

It's less than 1.5hrs to Derrick on Channel U!

It starts at 3.30pm and he said on his blog that we can use RazorTV to play along or something. I shall try it out later and tell ya all about it!

^^

Anyway, slept early around 12.30am? And I woke up at 10.38am because my house phone rang!
Grrr!!

Anyway, I took a peep at my handphone and saw I got a miss call and a message from my supplier! Time checked was 10.38am leh, she told me the delivery man would arrive after 11am and before 12pm so I set my alarm at 10.55am!

O.O

I was pretty surprised at the delivery person punctuality. Haha. So I text my supplier and she replied that the person would come back at 11am or so. Yup, so I switched on the tv while waiting for the clothes to arrive.

*Toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot*

The intercom phone rang, security informed me that the deliver person had arrived!

YAY!

*jumps in joy*

A few moments later, the guy arrived and gave me a bag 0f clothes, total 10 pieces.

I immediately find my item and took it out!

OMG.

Much to my dismay, the dress was like shit.

Absolutely shit.

The rest of my customers' items were alright except mine!

Eh, you know what it looks like?

Original piece:

I ordered the green piece.

I shall not post a picture of mine up. I shall elaborate on mine piece.

Well, first look the material was like those leftover material which feels like paper.

I looked at it and I thought I can just cut 2 holes for the armpit, the area for the neck part etc from the material , I think even better than that piece loh.

It simply looked like rejected stock.

Anyway, I already informed my supplier and she will get back to me asap. She will make me a refund.

*sigh*

And I was so looking forward to receiving my dress and wearing it to out or to school someday lah.

Alright, so I ate maggie mee for brunch. I totally lost the skill of cooking instant noodles already, it simply tasted yucky. Too much water added and there wasn't much food left in the fridge that I could dump in. =\

So now, I'm deciding whether to eat the packet of peanut biscuit which is obviously right infront of me now. Hmm.. Should I eat it later at 3.30pm while watching Channel U?

Bah.

I shall keep it for later.

*evil smile*

I've the urge to open it and eat right this instant and eat the remaining 2 packets!

Man.. Bro is working at the Comex fair from thur-sunday. It seem so quiet now at home. So boring lah! Anyway, I asked bro to lend me his animae disc, "Hitman Reborn"!

HOHO!

Heard it's real funny because my bro seriously laughed like nobody's business while watching it alone.

^^

Time check!

2.27pm!

About an hour more to go!!!!

WHOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

And, I make my mark.

5:53 PM

Whooo!

無法歸類 MV is out on the net!

Pardon for the low quality, I've no idea. The music seems to be faster than the video/pictures.

Y.E.S. 933 also uploaded the video on the website.

If possible, I'll try to learn the dance but there are some parts I'm unable to know because sometimes the MV doesn't really focus on the dance, you know what I mean lah.

If possible, I hope the gai ban will come out like Jolin's, the MV is all focused on the dance and whereby people are able to learn the dance just by watching. =)

Well, Derrick will be going to Raffles Girls Primary School tomorrow to promote his album and everything. The strange thing is that why go to a Primary School? At least go to a Secondary school or Ploytechnics lah. How weird is that? I wonder what Warner Music is thinking. Hmmm...

Oh, I've another video! It's about Derrick behind the scenes from the MV 無法歸類!

Enjoy!

DO PLAY THE VIDEOS!

Even if you don't understand, it's okay, I'm just happy you played the video! ^^

And, I make my mark.

3:24 PM

Well, yesterday was a cooling afternoon. I woke up at 11am and realised it was raining, so I closed the windows and keep in 2 bamboos of clothes. So I decided to see whether my brother was awake, I realised his room door was already open. Eh, normally he doesn't wakes up that early you know. So I thought he already had gone out!

I peeped into his room and tadah! His computer was switched on and there wasn't anyone sitting on the chair and you know where his body is?

On the bed sleeping!

-.-'''

So I went back into my room and went back to sleep! Hahahahaha! Such a nice cooling weather to snuggle up into my quilt. =)

An hour or so later, my brother came into my room and woke me up. Dang, time checked was 12.50pm?

We both laughed because this was the latest we had woke up. Normally we both would wake up around 11am-12pm. This time we really overshot, haha!

So we seriously spent like don't know how long to decided what to eat for brunch lah!

Again, the same ideas were rose again and of course some new ideas were said too.

1) Order pizza?
2) Go downstairs eat?
3) Maggie Mee?
4) Cook spaghetti?

We still have not come to a decision, so he went back to his room and faced the computer while I went into the living room and switched on the tv and watched the encore episode of " The Price is Right". About 1.40pm...

Bro: "So what you want to eat ah? We go downstairs okay?"

Me: "Huh...Downstairs so dirty.. somemore now raining leh, even dirtier!"

Bro ponders a while.

Bro: " Aiyah, come lah. Let's go downstairs."

Me: *sigh*

"Okay loh."

So we went the coffeeshop we always used to eat like almost 5 times a week? Because now it's both my bro and my holidays.

We ordered rice and a bowl of soup.

I didn't manage to finish my food leh!

EH! First time! =3

I think it's because of the weather. So we left the coffeeshop and bro went to have a haircut while I got only $2 to buy some snacks.

I went into a provision shop and bought the "Lexus" brand peanut butter biscuits, $1.80.

Initially, I saw the "Oreo" peanut butter cookies! It cost $2.30!

ARGH!

I've only got 2 bucks and I got no coins!

While I have like RM$0.60?

I wanted to ask the auntie whether she would accept it or not leh, because you divide, then agar agar equals to SGD$0.30!

Hehe, but then I not dare leh, cos the auntie's face always like bu shuang one, always very rude as if the whole world owes her something.

Okay.. So I took the biscuits and went to the counter to pay up.

*oh shit*

At the moment, I felt like shitting!

And you know what?!

There were 2-3 customers infront of me and suay suay something cropped up with the auntie lah! I've no idea what happened! I was controlling the shit! Oh man, the feeling was so #$%^&*.
I already went to clear my bowels before going out already leh, then come back again.

Okay, so I tahan a while. Finally, my turn!

Whoooooooo!

Faster rush to walk home.

*phone rang*

Bro: "Eh, Edna where are you now?"

Me: "Erm, I just walked out of the shop, now at the multi purpose function hall there."

Bro: "Wait for me!!!! I'm coming!!!"

Me: "Faster! I want to shit already! Aiyah, I go fast lah!"

Bro: "Eh! Cannot! Wait for me! Very fast one!"

Me: "Okay, okay."

But I still continued my way home SLOWLY, hoping the shit won't come out that fast yet.

*waits for bro*

Me: "Walk faster! My shit coming out already!"

*bro purposely walks slowly*

Me: "Aiyo! You ah! I go home first! Anyway, I got the back gate card and the keys!"

Bro: "Okay, I walk faster"

But he walked even slower.

T.T

So I walked quickly and my bro eventually caught up. Finally! I reached home. I put down the biscuit and went into the toilet!

*AHHHHHHH... SHIOK*

Seriously, I've no idea why I have that diarrhoea feeling in my tummy. Is it because I ate some contaminated food? Till now, I still got this feeling lah.

Ever since, after the WWW outing, I got this feeling.

p/s: not menstrual cramps lah.

I don't get that =)

Don't feel jealous lah.

p/s: oh! HQ and my sec school friend, Yixuan same block as me! W2!!

Woooo! I thought I was the unlucky posted to W2.

Anyway, saw my classmates on yandao.com already, 3/4 of the class are girls.

But, no shuai ge lah.

*sulks*

After writing this entry, it made me hungry now. I shall go make a cup of hot milo and have the peanut butter biscuits!

*grins*

TOODLES!

And, I make my mark.

4:18 PM

Hey people.

Yup, this entry is about the wild wild wet outing with the wonderful people!

Initially, we already planned to go www, BUT!

IT'S CLOSED ON TUESDAY!

Ah! How "lucky" can we be?

But partly our fault lah, because we didn't find out and check out the details and everything.

I already applied olive oil on my hair and applied sunblock lotion lah!

*roars!*

We discussed about where to head next, so we went bowling!!!!

It's been quite a long time since the last time I went bowling so I think this was my third time? Yeah, so we rented the shoes and we didn't buy socks! Hahaha!

We played 2 games, first round everyone's score was like *ahem*, yeah like shit lah. All the girls chose the lightest ball because really all of them there were pretty heavy! We had much fun and laughter, laughing over silly stuff and all. Well, by the 2nd round all of us were already warmed up and ready! But, there were still some went into the *ahem* side. Hafiz was leading the game way through, his total score was 135? Around there. The girls were much lousier, well no choice, some of them didn't bowl before.

Me and Peh Zikuan! Getting ready to bowl!
Bowl!
Haha!
Pzk. If you look closely at the boy' s lane, there's this rear at the side of his lane which prevents the ball from entering the drain! Woah, first time I see leh.

Joy and Deavi!

Group picture without Hafiz in it!
Thereafter, we went to Gelare and have waffles!
Tuesday = half price on waffles!

I ordered, chocolate chip waffle with 1 scoop of vanilla cookies and cream ice cream!

Shiok!

I've yet to try Ben n Jerry's, but my mom promised to bring me after getting her first pay cheque! I'm going to have that maybe this Sunday? ^^

Chatted a lot and decided to take pictures but we failed! The photographers were lousy! Haha! I didn't pint point anyone!

*innocent face*

.__.

Then, we decided to walk around and take pictures!

Saw the puny ponytail on my head? =)

*tickles hafiz*

More tickling!

See Joy was really crazy.
2 crazy school girls =)

More and more crazy photos!

Uhh?

What?

*box!*

Closed on Tuesdays.
*sulk*

*See! I can do it too!*

On the way home on the MRT, Hafiz took bus no. 3 home while Deavi, Pzk and I alighted at Tampines and wandered around while Joy went to Jurong Point to have dinner.

Seriously, there wasn't much to talk around. 3 of us sat on a sofa at the highest level near the lift and chatted a lot, whinning here and there =) Haha.

Okay, so that's all for the trip!

And, I make my mark.

Well well well...

And, I make my mark.

Money Not Enough 2!

Yup, I caught this movie with Lynn today!

It was an okay show for me because the main thing is that I DIDN'T CRY AT ALL. How weird is that? Almost all of those people who watched told me YOU WILL CRY. Probably, I know that the ending is sad and all that, that's why I didn't cry.

=3

After the movie, chatted a little and took photos. But I can't upload it into my desktop, I've no idea too.

Tomorrow is going to be a fun day at wild wild wet with the wonderful people! ^^

And, I make my mark.

11:18 PM

Hello!

Alright, so I didn't turn up for the fan club meeting, I decided to go for the autograph session and meet the nice people there next week instead (:

Watching the Olympics really helps to kill time when you really have nothing to do at home besides eating and sleeping.

It rained the whole day yesterday. Time passed quickly when you get addicted to the Olympics. Soon before I knew it, night came and I helped mom to prepare tuna bread! Actually it was my brother's job because he needs them for the children ministry for the church! Man! He didn't help at all, claiming that he was sick and all.

*roars*

It's mom's hands, not mine (:

Yadah, yadah, yadah.

Sunday!

Went to church and sermon wasn't interesting, I did listened for the 1st half but after that I started yawning and stopped paying attention after that.

Thereafter, went to Parkway Parade Ya Kun to have breakfast. Then we zoomed off to Eastpoint Mall because I wanted to check out the dance school and to rent dvds!

So the dance school was Studio Wu, perhaps some of you might have heard it before, I think it's quite popular.

1 session $20.

12 sessions, $180 (3 free lessons for students! ^^)

I'm interested in the MTV dance class. The receptionist told me I can join anytime and the instructor will teach dances from the MTV which are the more popular ones but I forgot to ask whether do they by chance teaches Jolin's Agent J.

T.T

And oh, the community centre which is the Tampines Central Community Centre, nearest to my house is also offering dance courses, hip hop!

It's for beginners lah, I shall keep my dancing background a secret unless someone asks me =)

8 sessions, $90 for member which I'm already am. I got like 3 Passion cards? Haha!

1st session starts on 6 Sep and ends on 25 October.

Each session last for an hour and the instructor is from DANCEPOINTE.

It's on every saturday, 11am-12pm.

For more info about DANCEPOINTE, CLICK HERE.

I think I will most probably join the class from the CC thereafter see if I like hip-hop then I will join the dance class at Studio Wu. Most probably I will continue my dance class until I'm bored?

And the thing is, my mom doesn't want to pay for my dance lessons at the CC!

EEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYEEEERRRRR!

Not that I don't have money, you see $90 spend on dance lessons = LESS $$ FOR SHOPPING!

I'm still maintaining the amount in my bank at that level! I'll ask dad to fork out a little ^^

Hopefully, he volunteers!

Continuing on from the entry...

After checking out the dance class, went to Video Ezy and check out the prices of renting the VCD/DVD. Thought it through and I felt I might as well ask my brother to download for me lah! I thought very cheap one you know! Like $3 a disc? Or for a day? I don't mind.

But instead, $5.50 for 5 days which I can finish watching the movie in like 2hours?

Someone please recommend me on websites which are able to download good quality movies. Thank You!

And oh! I watched Virgin Snow on Friday! The show was pretty nice and has a simple storyline! Man, I cried =\

Lee Jun Ki is amazingly handsome. I'm not lying, bluff you no money take ah.

Oh my.. The Lee Jun Ki craze is coming back already!

BYE.

9:38 PM

Oh, I didn't realise my previous entry was the 100th entry!

HAHA!

Okay, so today.

Woke up as usual stuck to the tv, ate koko krunch duo with my brother. We watched Olympics till like 2pm, thereafter I went to surf the net and do the usual stuffs like reading people's blogs, checking my mails and checking my blogshop to see if I needed to reply any enquiries.

Seriously, I enjoy reading people's blogs, I do that almost like twice a day? Perhaps, having nothing better to do shapes myself into that. Sometimes by blog hopping, I found my long lost friends or even better! I found the friend I knew in school or whatever, happens to be my friend's friend? Or better still, boyfriend or girlfriend!

Really! I've got 1 example! I found out just yesterday!

As usual I was reading people's blogs, and I read Andy's. My usual habit would be I always scan through the links and see if I knew anyone! Well, I clicked on Joshua. He was in my tuition class last year and we don't talk at all. Haha. So I read his blog and found out he has a girlfriend which SOSOSOSOSO happens to be in my secondary school. Her name is Cherelle, I think she doesn't know me lah but I know her. =)

Thererafter I wanted to confirm it, so I went to people's blog and manage to link to Cherelle's. Yeah, so it was true after all.

Singapore is really that small you know.

Seriously I've friends who used to be in the same primary school as me and now they are in Temasek Poly.

I've friends from Punggol Sec who went into TP lah, so confirm they will sure know each other. =)

*Boy, the English was this entry really super very Singaporean. Look at the broken English I'd typed.*

>.< Zhiyong(pri sch friend) knows ---> Queenie(sec sch friend).

And both of them knows me!

Don't believe?

I've got another example.

Hanlin (pri sch friend) knows ---> Eric (sec sch friend) knows ---> Zhiyong (pri sch friend)(same person as the previous example)

All of them knows me!

HAHAHA!

Small world lah.

Okay.

Another example. This time in RP.

I know Peh Zikuan.

PZK has a friend called ___. (* i don't know her name!*)

Then ___ knows Yixuan (sec sch friend) because they are both from the same class!

See, everyone seems to link with one another.

Hmm.. I used to think that the friends we mixed with, the relatives for anyone we know, knows each other! And we are somehow interlinked with each other.

Who knows?! I might meet your parents or relatives before without even knowing it!

Nah, not true because I would have seen their children before. Maybe not a direct link but another generation or rather an extended link.

OKAY!

BACK TO MY ENTRY!

After checking my mails etc, my brother said he wanted to go for a swim.

p/s: we both are now kind of jian fei-ing.

p/s: I don't use the word diet because I don't go on greens so much and I wouldn't want to lose my big appetite.

So I said okay! I wanted to swim too! At least there is someone accompanying me to exercise!

So we both went down and swam for like 40mins and started tanning a little and chatted.

We were discussing about what to eat for dinner.

xD

Brother : " Eh, what you want to eat for dinner huh?"

Me : " Don't know leh, I now very hungry, anything also can eat."

Brother : "Hmmm, what about KFC? I suddenly have a craving for it!"

Me : " Har.. Sure not? We past few days so healthy, eat cereals/bread, then exercise, won't sinful meh?"

Brother : "Oh ya hor."

We pondered for a moment again.. (still sun tanning)

Brother : "What you want to eat for dinner ah?"

Me : "Don't know leh."

Brother : "What about Madison? The newly opened shop at Food Palace which sells sandwiches, pasta, salad etc."

Me : " Ok ah."

Brother : "Hey! What about popeye?!"

Me : "OKAY!"

Brother : " Aiyah, like very far leh...."

Me : =.='''

Go lah! I only ate once only! So convenient! Just take bus 27, less than half an hour can reach Changi Airport already!"

*he got me very enthu about popeye*

Brother : "I lazy to travel lah. Hmmm.................... What about we order Pizza?!"

Me : "Aiyah, up to you. I only know I now very hungry!"

Brother : "Okay lah, we go KFC."

Okay, like that settled.

So we went back to have a shower and 5pm sharp, off we go!

After going out from the backgate, crossed the road...

Me : "Eh, I feel like going to Madison and eat leh. I never try before."

* bro stops walking and thinks a while*

Brother : "Hmm.. So now how? Go where eat?"

Me : "Anything."

Brother :"Aiyah! Go KFC! The craving for KFC is coming back already!"

Me : "Okay!"

Guess what we ordered?

I ordered 1 Zinger student meal.

My brother ordered the Zinger Buddy Meal.

LOL.

I bet you people won't believe I eat 1 pathetic meal only right?!

HAHAHA!

So spot on!

The meal my brother ordered.. of course share with me lah!
So in total, EACH person ate :

1 Zinger burger
1 piece chicken
2 shrimp thingy
1 whipped potato
1 cup of mountain dew
Cheese fries ( 1 serving we share lah, half each)
1 coleslaw

But I didn't finish the coleslaw, not my type of food. Not that I'm full or can't finish ah.

SERIOUSLY!

After eating all those = haven't even started eating!

OH NO!

I don't feel full a tiny winy bit.

I'm not lying!

My brother was trying to convince himself that he was full.

T.T

After eating KFC, I told myself I cannot eat somemore for the rest of the day!

I REALLY CONTROLLED!

^^

Thank you, thank you.

I know you all very happy for me.

And, I make my mark.

Woooh!

Finally for 48 years waiting, the moment had finally arrived!

Congratulations to TEAM SINGAPORE for clinching a silver medal at the 29th Olympics. Finally a Singapore flag was seen rising at the Presentation Ceremony.

Let me update you if you didn't bother to watch the news or even the Olympics, all I can say you are like a frog living in the well, that's all. =)

48 years ago, a weightlifting by the name of Tan Howe Liang won Singapore's very first silver medal for the lightweight category, in the 1960 Rome Olympics.

Well, years passed and in Athens 2004 Olympics, Li Jia Wei was close to clinch a bronze medal but failed.

So 4 years of training and TEAM SINGAPORE managed to bring a medal back and this time it's not a bronze medal but a SILVER!

Considering Singapore a tiny city and everyone is very pampered with the luxury we had and is still taken for granted, having clinching a medal in the Olympics is a very big thing after all. 17 August is a day for us Singaporeans to remember because history is made and this will go down in years to come.

Who knows for the next few decades or so, this historic moment will be added into your child's history textbook!

Watching the match yesterday was exciting! To be realistic, to aim for a gold for the 3 paddlers is quite ambitious you know. Defeating China would be the top headlines for months especially defeating world's no. 1 and 2!

Whoooo! Imagine what headlines and 'chaos' it will create in every country.

Despite being defeated by 3 matches to nil, I believe majority of the people in Singapore , the coach, the whole of TEAM SINGAPORE and of course not forgetting the 3 paddlers felt very proud at the very moment. It was a memorable moment for all Singaporeans because it will definitely go down in history in years to come!

My favourite player among the trios would be Feng Tianwei!

Seeing her play was superb. She always seem expressionless but she always kept her cool! She was the heroine during the match between South Korea and Singapore! What a super player! Gone is Li Jia Wei because it seemed like she was unable to redeem herself!

Remebered in the 2004 Athens Olympics? She was up against South Korea, Kim Kyung-ah, and she lost to her?

*Kim Kyung-ah has this irritating/annoying face which irks me*

Now in 2008, history had repeated itself. Man... Isn't Kim Kyung-ah improving? Or is it Li Jia Wei didn't train enough? The nightmare had came to haunt Li Jia Wei yet once again.

As a team, TEAM SINGAPORE is not bad but I don't know about the singles then.

Hopefully, in the year 2012, they can bring back a gold medal? Sounds impossible but it's worth to try.

DO READ THE WHOLE ENTRY! PRETTY PLEASE!

I KNOW IT'S A LONG ENTRTY BUT DO MAKE THE EFFORT TO READ!

It will be sincerely gladly appreciated. ^^

Oh yeah, I'm back from JB!

This post will be all about the trip and some little updates here and there ya?

Oh, no pictures!

Sorry!

It started off with waking up at 8.30am, brushed my teeth and washed my face. Thereafter, I found myself glued to the tv because watching the olympics can really be an addiction afterall especially with Michael Phelps as the headlines everyday.

Thereafter I got myself ready and waited for 10am to arrive while my mom, bro and I went down to the backgate and waited for my uncle to arrive as he was driving us to JB!

We went on the expressway and boy oh boy... The feeling was as per normal school day! The journey was like going to school! I think I got sick of the route to school already, maybe I shall try new routes to school during the holidays?

Okay, the journey was very smooth, got pass the checkpoints and all that. Well, it was my first time entering into Malaysia by car, usually I would take those tour buses. I gained some additional knowledge about the part whereby you need to give your passports and all. I thought we needed to get out of the vehicle and get through the checkpoints and all.

Ya lah, I know I a bit dumb in this area. Do forgive my naive-ness (no such word, so don't learn from me, lest your mom/english teacher comes after me). =)

There's the machine when you need to put your thumb for a few seconds to indicate you are the same person as seen from your passport, I was amazed at how it worked.

Okay, alright, I know, I've have not seen much of the world yet.

=3

Okay, as I was saying...

We reached JB in like less than an hour or so, I guess?

Off to City Square shopping mall!

Whoooo!

First thing to do was to EAT!

Yup, my brother recommended us a restaurant, " Hong Kong Kim Gary" (i can't really remember the name) which served both Western and Asian food suitable for Singaporeans like us, because he had been to City Square more than he enters Tampines Mall.

Yes, that's how frequent my brother goes to JB to EAT with his friends without inviting me!

*roars!*

The restaurant was mostly filled with Singaporeans lah, no need to ask can see already!

I ordered the breakfast set or something which hotdogs, a small piece of fish fillet, an extremely thin slice of ham, mixed veggies and the main part.. Spaghetti appeared on my plate.

Seriously, I had forgotten to take down the price of the meal!

*Whoops!*

Actually the main purpose of my uncle and aunt inviting us to go JB was to find a wedding shop and have a wedding album produced because their 25th wedding anniversary is arriving soon! Those shops in Singapore are expensive and I heard from my aunt that they don't allow the wedding gown to be soaked in water! My aunt wanted to have pictures taken by the seaside and all.

So going to JB was the best way to solve her doubts.

Since my uncle was driving, so he asked us along too!

After eating, we went walking around in the mall.. Soon I got bored walking with the adults so my brother and I decided to watch a movie!

The ticket prices there are soooooooo cheap!

On weekends, they charge you RM10 per person. If you do your maths and know the current exchange rate(2.33 for SGD$1), the ticket is around SGD$4.29 per person! It's on weekends somemore!

Compare the price in Singapore which is like $10.50 or what or weekends?

It's more than half the amount of Singapore's stupid movie weekend ticket!

Okay, so we booked the 4.25pm, " You don't mess with Zohan."

Pity it wasn't NC16!

They censored all those parts.

We were still early for the show so we pulled mom away from my aunt and uncle and we went shopping ourselves instead.

The very first thing that comes into my brother's mind was to eat Swensen's ice-cream! In JB, it's called "Seasons". The imitaton of of it, the name sounds amusing to me! Haha!

I ordered a single scoop, frosted chocolate _____, I forgotten the name of it. Yes, you didn't see wrongly! I only ate A SINGLE SCOOP! My brother ordered the "Cookie Summit", pretty nice!

After getting our stomachs filled, we headed off to shopping!

I bought a pair of shoes!

Cheapo lah!

It's quite common lah, you will be able to find them in Bugis Street etc. You know those school shoes, of course mine is fully covered with patterns and all.

I just bought it because I wanted to buy those kind of shoes and it's so cheap!

RM29.90, convert it into Singapore Dollars, it's $12.80!

Where are you able to see this price in Singapore?!

Madness!

Met my aunt and uncle at 3pm and some cafe, my brother and I weren't interested in eating anymore because we were full! So we headed off to Jean Yip!

It's horribly cheap if you just want to have a haircut!

RM38, SGD$16.30 ONLY!

YES! IT'S JEAN YIP!

Well if you want to cut in Singapore, it should cost around $30+++! And it's only cut!

My brother and I were very tempted into colouring our hair!

So pooof!

We entered the shop! Initially, we were undeceive and were in a dilemma, whether to highlight or not?

We discussed and we wanted to highlight our hair!

I got a female hairdresser while my brother got a male one. The hairdresser who attended to me seriously looked like Wu Xu Ma Li from a radio station in Singapore! Haha! She got this common face, probably I would called it "ah lian face?" or maybe not.

Okay, first up was to wash my hair thereafter trimed my fringe and the hair behind, okay, the whole head lah. Then, went on to highlighting. I chose my colour and waited for her to prepare the colour and everything. My brother finished the whole process earlier than me because I needed to wait for my turn to wash my hair as the 2 spaces were occupied by my brother and another customer as a result, mine was delayed and also my hair was longer than my brother's.

We realise the colour of our hair were similar lah! We both didn't expect the colour to turn out so bright because the sample shown to us were a little different. But, it was okay! Haha! Now we look more like siblings! It's browinsh-orangy in colour.

Oh, I know you people are anticipating for a picture after the whole process right?

Much to your dismay, we didn't take any! Sorry!

The total cost for the both of us were like RM218 only?

We got a discount after a little persuasion from my brother and I were given RM8 discount.

My brother's costed like RM 98 while mine was RM120.

So I divided equally lah, RM4 discount for each person.

Bro : SGD$40.34

Mine : SGD$49.78!

VERY CHEAP RIGHT?

I know the expressions/thinking's on all of your faces would like: Of course green with envy then...

" ARGH! I ALSO WANT TO GO JB, JEAN YIP FOR A HAIRCUT TOO! IT'S SO BLOODY CHEAP!"

*runs to mum*

"MUMMY! I ALSO WANT TO GO JB CAN? PLEASE!"

Haha! Hilarious lah!

So the next time you people go JB, do go Jean Yip ya? =)

Very worth it.

My brother and I were very very extremely late for the movie which starts at 4.25pm! We finished everything like 5.20pm? Yeah, around there. We rushed to the theatre and went to toilet and tadah! We were watching the movie and soon not long after we had settled down, the movie was over.

T.T

I didn't get the story, only manage to get it around 40%-50%?

Anyway, the movie ticket is only SGD$4? Don't watch also can lah.

Okay, we met up with my mom, aunt and uncle at a restaurant and had dinner!

I ordered black pepper udon with pork chop, I'll rate it 3/5, because it was cooked in black sauce and looked very blackish and tasted a little salty. I ordered Mango Smoothie too but for the first time, I barely drank 1/2 of the jar! The jar was like those type you used to keep fighting fish in your childhood days.

I got throat freeze and I didn't finished it. =\

Okay, off to the car park and luckily the car didn't got a break in.

Thank God.

So back to Singapore we go!

Home sweet home!

Oh, I was VERY disappointed because I didn't have time for MORE MORE MORE MORE shopping! The haircut and movie took up the majority of the time but I'm going back to JB on the 5th or 6th of September because my aunt and uncle are going to have their photo shoots!

Congrats to me!

=)

SUNDAY.

I didn't go to church today because I was REALLY SLEEPY AND TIRED!

I woke up at 11am and mom asked me to wash up quickly because she's meeting my dad at Century Square(my dad attended church service while my mom and I didn't). Went to Century Square's foodcourt and had Ban Mian, but I chose U-Mian instead.

Off to Shop N Save for some grocery shopping because my mom had this $50 voucher. We don't usually shop at Shop N Save because their products are limited and the environment isn't pleasing to the eye at all, we usually shop at NTUC or Cold Storage. Majority would be NTUC because I can say it's quite user friendly or rather customer friendly!

Haha!

Finally, we went home and I bought magazines because Derrick was on the front cover!

YAY!

And oh, my aunt and uncle came over just now and had dinner!

Mummy finally cooked! It was like years she didn't step into the kitchen after she started working! Watched the gold medal match for table tennis, China VS Singapore. A little disappointing because S'pore didn't win any matches at all, not even 1. Anyway, as long they get a medal who cares if they win any matches or not. They happily got $750K in their pockets already! Haha! Watching the match of them against South Korea was REALLY A TORTURE!

My brother and I watched like WOAH! The end result seemed like it was never going to come! Finally, S'pore won against South Korea. Hey, the Feng Tianwei player for S'pore is really cool! I like her lah! She's very cool and she seemed expressionless unlike Li Jia Wei, totally not up to standard and once she lose her cool she can bid goodbye to her medals already.

Okay, terribly sorry for the lack of updates and pictures.

Sincere apologies!

^^

Toodles people!

And, I make my mark.

Well, before I post an entry about the last 2 days in school, I just thought of what do I really want in life.

I just got into my room, took my portable whiteboard and started scribbling.

It started off with Realist Vs Natural, and then I changed the heading to " What Do I Really Want In Life?"

I've been seriously thinking about it, why realistic vs natural?

It's because I just watched this show on Channel U, 艺点心思 or CelebriTea Break, guests, Elvin and Jessica Liu. This episode really made me pondered over a lot of things.

Realistic

Everyone wants fame, glamour, money etc. Apart from being so practical or realistic, I feel that sometimes in live, we need to slower down our pace a little and try to relax a little and notice every single details that had happened in our lives. Seriously, I feel that everyday our lives are being wasted because we don't stop and think about what do we really want in our lives.

I believe we often do misinterpret of what do we really want in our lives. It all boils down to 2 categories, needs and wants.

Sometimes, people often overlooked the point because what we are currently doing right now is a need because you see, why do people work?

Some would say to earn money, take care of the family etc.

Some people just only want to earn lots of money and they don't really give a damn of what's happening around them. That becomes a need eventually because without working, nobody would be able to live long unless you are very lucky and strike 4D or Toto everyday which I doubt will happen.

Natural

Well, putting aside the fact that of being realistic and all. My dream is to live by the seaside in a quiet country with my future husband and just be joyful and forget all those troubles that have been bottling inside of me. You see, without being realistic is so much better off.

I've just chatted with Hafiz and Joy and asked them what do they really want in life and what's their ambition.

Both of them gave me different answers but I shall not post it up here because I believe it's something confidential. Not that their answers were hilarious or anything but I feel that there is a need not to say it out.

I suddenly thought of the diploma I'm currently taking now which is Environmental Science. Joy asked me a question " The course I'm taking right now, is it really what I wanted?"

I've given a serious thought about it long ago and I still have the same answer which is no.

Initially, I wanted the Hotel and Hospitality badly and I really did cried over my results because I didn't manage to get into the course. After months, I realised Hotel and Hospitality isn't what I really want, it's because of future.

As you people know, Singapore has become very into this Integrated Resort (IR) thing and it is currently the 'hot' course among the Polytechnics. This eventually became a want in my life and it wasn't my interest at all.

Entertaining customers, changing bedsheets etc isn't really what I want to do for the rest of my life.

Coming back to the point, up till now I still have no definite answer to my question.

I'm constantly changing my dreams, ambitions and everything because I've yet to find something which I really have the passion for it and would stay loyal and not lose interest in.

Maybe someday I will find goals in my life and work towards it. Maybe a trial and error in my life would probably be of help in achieving my dreams and find a definite answer of what do I really want in my life and what is my ambition in the future.

Time will definitely give me an answer.

And, I make my mark.

9:54 PM

HELLO!

Thank you, for all those wonderful people who had sent me their wishes, through sms, friendster's comments and of course my tag board on this blog.

Early this morning, I woke up and realise something was not right..

I thought for a moment, and pondered about what day was today.

*thinking...*

Oh! Today is Sunday..

And.. there's seem to be something missing...

Hmmmmm....

Oh! It's my birthday and I turn 17 today!

Okay.. I dragged my ass to church today.

On the way to church, cam-whored with my brother on the buses, 69 and 197.

*Pardon the sleepy eyes*

*Ahh.. this picture is nicer!*

:D

*Hehe*

Whooooo... First time my bro is so high about taking pictures.

So after church service, had brunch at Parkway Parade and headed home to sleep for 3 hours. Woke up and found out that bro was only coming home first then we needed to head off to some restaurant to dine which we haven't decided.

I woke up and surf the net for restaurants which served good steak because I wanted to eat steak so badly!

My mom suggested Tony Roma while my brother said Hog's Breath, at Suntec Tower and VivoCity respectively. Initially, I had no idea on where was the best place to eat steak because seriously my parents seldom bring us to those fanciful restaurants to dine.

Suddenly, I thought of a place!

Indulgz!

Wooooo! I was introduced to this place by Xiaxue, the famous blogger in S'pore.

I think you people should know lah, since she's so popular.

So I searched on the net about where the venue was and how to go there. I called the person and asked about the details and so I told the person I would called back later after confirming with my bro and mom. Bleah, this is the year whereby my dad couldn't celebrate my bro's(July) and my birthday together.

:'(

Then, I called back Indulgz to confirm my reservation for 3.

The good thing was that there was no extra charge for having reservation.

So there we go!

OFF TO INDULGZ WE GO!

We realise that we were the first customers because they re-opened at 6pm for dinner.

The ambience and the decoration of every single detail was pretty nice you know.

We walked in and saw a table with 3 menus on the table, which was ours!

HAHAHAHA!

Okay, we ordered our food and boy the waiting was such a torture!

You know, my last meal for the day (Sunday) was like 11+am?

I reached the place around 6.30pm!

Alright, now for pictures.

First up...

Plain Thick Cut Fries w Tomato Salsa $4.80

The fries were really nice, you know sometimes you bite into some fries, inside there is like no potato there and inside is like very empty!

BUT!

Their fries were filled with potato and was quite springy!

Got tan xing one okay!

Okay, next in line was my peach and mango smoothie!

This drink is super duber uber heavenly. The thickness of the smoothie was just nice and it slides down your throat smoothly. First, you taste the peach-ness then comes the mango.

*Thumbs Up!*

Next up is...main course!

Mine:

Char-grilled Ribeye Steak (200g before grill) $26.90

Oh, compare the gravy on my ribeye steak with Xiaxue's.

SEE HERE!

My gravy was little loh!

Anyway, I did enjoyed the food!

See it's medium rare and I love the part where the blood was oozing out when you sliced it.

*shiok*

My Bro's :

Oven-Baked Pork Ribs $23.90

My bro said it was pretty good, you know the part which you would suck out the gravy from the bones after clearing all the meat on it? =)

My mom's :

Beer Battered Fish Fillet $18.80

My mom said the portion was just right for her but I thought the portion of the fish could have been more generous. Overall, it was great.

HOHO!

The waitress came up to us and said " Excuse me, would you mind if you all were to change seats because there is a group of customers outside and they would need to occupy yours."

Well.. I sort of forget what she said but I knew the motive of her asking us to change seats to the back lah.

Of course we said no because we have not finished our food and we don't like to be disturbed in the middle while you simply are enjoying the food!

So the waitress told the group of customers outside to wait or something, then we saw them left.

!!!!!

Minus points!

Dessert time!

I ordered...

Muhahahahaha.

Belgium Waffles with Vanilla Ice-cream & Peaches (NEW!) $9.50

THIS IS REALLY REALLY NICE!

The waffle isn't the normal type you try on the streets you know, I was expecting it to be crispy!

The taste is like, when you bite into it, it was really soft and it tasted like the healthy hotcakes my mom bought from NTUC. This is the very first time, I tasted this type of waffle outside!

Taken after eating it halfway through.

My brother ordered this:

Warm Berry Trifle (NEW!) $8.50

Pardon the angle of this picture was taken because I was too busy eating mine that I almost forgotten to take a picture of my brother's.

The brownie below was just fabulous, it was a little warm. Everything was just right. Sorry for the lighting of the pictures yeah?

Okay after eating, we sat there for a little while, while waiting for the food we had just consumed to disgest into our stomach. Meanwhile, we took photos!

My brother and me!

My mom and brother!

Mommy and me!

Yeah, I know my mom is also small in size too. =)

It runs in the blood huh?

My brother and I realised that we looked giant as compared to my mom when we were taking pictures so we decided to keep mom out of the picture taking session and carried cam-whoring with the glass bottle!

When you asked for iced water in Indulgz, they will give you a glass bottle of cold water and small cups.

Amazing isn't it?

High class okay!

Kiss the bottle!

My brother said I looked shock in this picture.

Now it's my turn to have a solo picture with the glass bottle!

*Kicks bro away*

Alright, we had taken enough pictures and headed off for the way while the waitress ran towards the door and helped us to open the door!

Woooo!

Add points for services!

Thereafter, we walked back to Bugis Junction and snooped around for the Chocolate Fondue machine or whatever you call that because my brother wanted to buy it but there was none.

Then, we bought my tiniest birthday cake at BreadTalk because Four Leaves cakes were leftovers and it didn't look pleasing to my eye.

So we headed off home because I had school the next day!

We had a discussion about who shall pay for the cab fare home, my mom said she can't pay because the dinner had already cost her $122. I was the birthday girl... so.... I can't possibly pay right?

HAHA!

My brother gave in and volunteered to pay! $11.50 for the fare home.

Reached home and waited for dad to come home from work and celebrated my birthday with the tiny winy cake. =\

Tadah! The $5.20 chocolate cake!

Top view of the cake with the cherry jam on top!

Light the candle on the cake!

Middle section of the cake!

Oh, I had a wonderful birthday this year but sad to say I didn't get the chance to celebrate it in class like the rest because it falls on Sunday and 10 Aug is a holiday for everyone annually. ='(

Okay, that's all.

And, I make my mark.

HEY PEOPLE!

HAPPY NATIONAL DAY!

I stayed at home the whole day.

Actually yesterday, Max asked me whether I wanted to join N397 group gathering or not but I said I will give him an answer by yesterday night.

So in the end, I didn't give him an answer.

I was considering whether to go or not, so I sms-ed Liyun asked her about the outing and all but in the end I was too sleepy, tired and lazy to drag my ass to East Coast.

Seriously, I was very sleepy.

But!

Holidays are coming in like 4 days time?

And I can sleep!

Last day of school is on the 12 Aug which is also Peh Zi Kuan's birthday.

I've been thinking about my next semester's class.. I wonder what people I'll meet because I'm very reluctant about meeting ah lians and ah bengs.

I wonder whether I'll meet some really nice people?

Will I be alone?

*shrugs shoulders*

我真的不知道。

Sometimes, life really does give doubts and uncertainties. Probably, that's the reason we are living for because we don't know what may happen the next day.

All these thinkings are really giving me butterflies in my stomach.

It made me had some recollection of the first day in school in RP, 7 April.

The date I remembered very clearly.

Before the school started and all that, I did have butterflies in my stomach too. Guess, I'm really not the kind of person who anticipates for new things?

These 16 weeks of school that had just almost passed with just with a blink of an eye, really I'm not exaggerating or whatsoever. Coming back to think of the first day of school, I remembered the first lesson which was Enterprise and I was grouped with strangers who turned out to be really nice people.

My group consisted of Kimberly, Shino, Enning and Aaron.

Thereafter school, went out of RP together with Amanda, my very first friend!

Haha!

Then met my mom and headed off to TM to buy a bagpack!

All these memories are still fresh in my head.

Boy oh boy.

Time flies. Now I finally understood why people says time flies so fast when you're having a ball of a time.

Alright, enough of these pessimistic stuffs and get on with my entry.

Okay!

After sms-ing Liyun, I spent most of the time today reading 何维健 or Derrick's blog. I went through his past entries and had some flashback of the year 2005 because that was the year Project Superstar started. Come to think of it, I really did spent a lot of money on voting.

$0.50 a sms?

Imagine how many sms-es and calls I voted.

3 years went past just like that and pooof!

Derrick's album was official launched.

So I spent the day starring at the laptop and watched NDP with my family and grandma.

Grandma was here for the day because it was my mom's turn to look after her for the Saturday.

And here's the dinner my family and grandma had for today!

Man, I don't know why this picture is positioned is this way, I can't seem to change it.

I was glued to the TV and laptop that I didn't comb my hair the whole day.

After watching "Calefare" and "First Class", my mom shoved me into the bathroom because I have not bath yet.

.__.

So here am I blogging away!

Okay, let me talk about yesterday.

After having such a fun time in school, went to meet my dad and bro at Tampines MRT station and took a train down to Bedok and mom came into the carriage. My parents and I needed to go Tekka Mall to collect certificates because my mom did enrolled into a school and signed up for the IR course or something and she completed the course. My bro came along with us because so coincidentally he was going out too. So we alighted at Bugis station while my brother alighted at the next stop which was City Hall.

Off we to Tekka Mall and collected the certificates. I was snooping around to see if they offered any courses that I was interested in, majority of them were about Human Resource but I didn't find any which was about Psychology.

*Booooooooo*

We headed to Sim Lim Square to had our dinner, the foodcourt was at the basement level.

I order 排骨虾面汤 and Mango Tango (smoothie).

Tadah! Here it is!

After having dinner, took bus 23 to Temasek Poly bus stop and alighted there. While on the bus journey, I switched on my laptop annd started checking my mails and played the games I downloaded. I finished off with my trail of 60 minutes for Bejeweled 2.

=(

After getting off the bus, went to look for newspaper because I saw someone stated on Derrick's tagboard that he was featured in The Straits Time so I decieded to buy the newspaper.

Went to 7-Eleven and bought it!

Soon I was found at home watching the Beijing Olympics 2008 opening ceremony.

Man...!

I waited super duber uber long for TEAM SINGAPORE to come out lah!

Like almost an hour?

Okay, around 11pm I went to bed and fell into a very deep sleep but I still have no idea why I'm still feeling so sleepy now.

T.T

Okay people, in 1.5hrs time, it's going to be 10 Aug!

And!

It's my birthday!

So do send me your birthday wishes and everything!

But, if I don't reply you, this means I'm sleeping. I won't be disturbed by anyone's sms or calls because I'll off the vibration and the sound!

Hehe!

Sorry lah, not that I don't want to see your wonderful wishes just that I don't like to be disturbed when I'm sleeping because you know I'm lacking of sleep everyday because my school is located so faraway from my home.

And, I need to drag my ass to church tomorrow.

好不想去啊.

可是没办法,我得去不然我哥哥会一之会吵着我为什没我没去的哦。

Oh! My mom is bringing me to Vivocity to have steak/beef for my birthday!

Muhahahahahaha!

Hopefully, the plan still goes on.

*cross fingers*

I think you all must be wondering why am I typing in Chinese because I was influenced by Derrick!

His blog is in Mandarin too so I decided why not type too!

Haha!

I feel that typing in Mandarin, one is able to express better you know and at the same time, I can improve my chinese. So when you people, see any chinese words that are wrong, do tell me okay? Because I'm too lazy to flip through the pages of the dictionary.

Lol.

I just influenced my brother to type in Mandarin too!

I'm now talking to Lynn and I was using Chinese!

Haha!

Soon, I'll be receiving a msn message from my bro in chinese!

Alright, toodles people!

Thanks in advance for all the wishes yeah?

:D

And, I make my mark.

4:31 PM

*They finally agreed with one another*

See, smell, hear and speak no evil.

Yes, this is our new generation and we've added 1 more extra element in it. =)

This guy, Naresh, keep insisting that I'm short. But can't you deduce from the picture that he's more of a giant rather than I'm short?

What kind of irony is that?

O.O

Okay, now both Hafiz and Naresh gang up against me and insisted I'm short.

=3

*heee*

I pulled in Joy to be on the same boat as me and hahahaha!

See!

Naresh is a gaint and not the fact that I'm short!
*ahem*

配合 a bit can or not?

*gives you candies for reward*

Okay, back to the pictures. ^^
Joy getting her hair messed up by Saddam as usual.
Deavi and Saddam.
Tamil Tiger Leader and the creator of it. =D
They always argue with each other in class and used to have numerous games of catching.
But look, when they take photos, they aren't arguing.
No one is out to spite each other!
Haha!
I know you people will come to a conclusion that they both are together and all that stuff.
BUT!
BUT!
BUT!
She's taken already!
*boooo*
Introducing another character.
Aaron = Mr Passionate guy.
Why the name?
Reason simple.
He does everything with passion. =)
Tadah!
It's my honour to have a picture taken with him.
*bows*
Next up in line with Mr Passionate is Joy!
Deavi!
Wah, Deavi greedy ah! Seize the opportunity to take another photo with him!
Naresh and Mr.P
Next part...
Pictures taken with Science Facilitator!

*wide wide grin*
Deavi, Hafiz and Lynn.
Finally a picture with Peh Zikuan!
*Shakes head*
She seriously doesn't look like her age.
For the benefit for those who don't know, she's 20.
Yes....
I'm not lying!
Oh ya! You people must be wondering why are there so many people wearing the colour yellow right?
Well, simple, almost everyday we come a colour code from my clique of what to wear for the following day in school! That explains why you see so many yellow!
Another reason is that, they love me and they want to be my fan!
Edna = Banana = Wear Yellow!
*winks*
Awww....
End of this post with a picture of us!

And, I make my mark.

*Was there a handsome guy in the toilet?*

It's Cindy.

8:28 AM

I'm pretty amazed at myself and a little disappointed at myself for the previous post.

Why?

1) I'm really impressed that I could translate everything that Derrick said in the video while promoting his album into English! As you people know my mandarin is not that good, so kick that fact aside and tadah! =)

2) I still feel that my English standard ain't that good. =3

*I shall change a little grammer, structure of sentences and insert some profound words if I'm able to later.*

:D

Okay, so let me tell you about my shopping trip on Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday, went out with mom to Far East Plaza.

Bought this skirt I saw on the net!

Initially, I was pondering on which colour to buy because all the colours were so pretty!

Yeah, so here's the picture!!

Mine is actually pink and not blue, I couldn't find the picture!

How infuriating is that?!

When I don't feel like buying, the picture always seem to appear on several blogshops!
I also bought a pair of gladiator!

Mine is brown!

Exactly the same as the picture! Bought it as $24.40 after 30% discount.

Like finally! I was almost going to buy 1 pair online because there's this blogshop which held this spree and ....

Yah, you people know lah, I was so tempted to buy.
Actually the funny was that, when I buy clothes, accessories etc online, my mom usually nagged at me.

Whereas on this shopping trip, she didn't nag a single bit, seriously not a little at all!!

Cute ah my mom. :D

Thereafter, we wandered around TANGS, mostly Orchard shopping centres but didn't cover all of them because time was not our side and besides the next day my family needed to go to attend church service. In addition, my legs were tired and I was also sleepy!

T.T

So my mom ended up going home empty handed whereas I managed to buy the items I wanted badly.
And!

We went to Marks N Spencer and bought this digestive milk chocolate biscuit and redcarrant puffs which comes in 3 packs and it cost $7.40.

Alright, so Sunday.

Attended church service and surprisingly even though I was SLEEPY I did pay attention to the speaker and I found the preach so interesting!

WHY?

Because it was Mark Conner!

Mark Conner is the Senior Minister of CityLife Church, a large growing church in Melbourne, Australia.

CLICK HERE IF YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT MARK CONNER.

He was the speaker for Festival of Praise, held at the indoor stadium during 2-4 August which was last weekend.

I did regret for not attending it because seriously it's really good.

=3

So next year, people, ask me go ah.

Okay, so after listening to his speech, I did teared a little but no one knew. I was really touched. For the first time in my life, I felt that feeling I had never experienced it before. Seriously speaking, I almost wanted to breakdown but then I held back my tears.

Sandy didn't know, but I think she will be happy for me because I finally have the motivation or interest in coming to church. =)

After service, went shopping at Parkway Parade as usual again. I didn't manage to buy anything but my mom bought like 3 pairs of heels, which cost $115, after a little discount here and there.

Thereafter, went back to Tampines Mall and snooped around for tops to match the skirt I bought on Saturday because I felt that I had no tops at home to match the skirt!

I tried on lots and lots and lots of tops and cardigans!

REALLY!

NO LYING!

Try until I was unsure about how many tops and cardigans I tried!

You know what I bought in the end?
Brown stockings.
._.

Alright, I shall leave you a picture.

And, I make my mark.

8:37 PM

Hey people, I'm doing an advertorial post.

Well, you people would have guessed it.

It's Derrick Hoh.

After the 2 and a half years of long awaiting..

Finally...

HE IS BACK!

Yes, he is back!

Project Superstar I, 2nd runner up, DERRICK HOH WEI JIAN IS BACK!

He's debut album is called 無法歸類 which was launched on 30 July 2008 which was just 2 days ago.

Let me give you people a scoop about his debut album.

Well, the first song 無法歸類 or Unclassified which is also his album title, it gives people the attitude feeling. Though in real life, he can't expressed this feeling out but only through this song, people can sense this kind of sensation.

When he had his first look at the lyrics, he love it but yet at the same time he was afraid he couldn't bring out the feel to the listeners. After seeking advices from the professionals, he managed to sing out the feeling that he was expected to and he had a sigh of relief after hearing the outcome.

The third song which is 你走天橋 我走地下道 or Overhead Bridge, Underground Pass, it gives people a very comfortable feeling. This song is meant/suitable for those couples who have broken up.

In this MV, he met this female lead while filming this whole MV. The feeling of working together with the female lead was not bad putting aside the fact that they were not familiar with each other.

Derrick hopes the listeners to realise the moral of the song after listening to it because the moral of the song is brought out in a very straightforward way and through the lyrics the listeners should be able to guess what the song has to say.

In addition, this song gives people the need to see a breakthrough in the relationship and with this breakthrough, it enables couples to see the moral of this whole 'story'.

It also gives both parties of what they should do after the break-up.

The motive/moral of this song is to give both parties a space to breathe and reflect on their mistakes they had made in the relationship and also stimulate their minds of what they want in the future.

For the fifth song, 碰碰愛 or Knock-Out Love, it originally was a French song. After the change in genre of the song, it has got a Hiphop/R&B style towards it. The lyrics was composed by 张乐声, former contestant from Project Superstar I.

This song is to encourage the boy to woo the girl of their dream. Derrick said that it is a kind of feeling which he has not experienced it before, it is also like a new role for him to play in this MV.

Other than dancing, the director had also arranged 2 girls to play a part in this MV.

This next song is called 我舍不得 or Can't Let Go.

The arrangement of the 2 girls left Derrick an awkward feeling because he has a shy personality as you people can see. (:

In the beginning of the song, the listeners will sense a China kind of feel. After listening more, you will sense a 南洋风 feel. This song was originated from Thailand.

Initially Derrick was quite surprised.

Why?

It was because after seeing the lyrics in Mandarin, he felt a refreshing feeling!

He feels that it was a very straightforward song, in the sense that it enables the lisnteners to guess the message behind it easily. When he was recording for this song, he puts his utmost effort in projecting out the feel of the song.

He wants to bring out the hidden message behind the song to the listeners. The genre of this song is somewhat similar to 你走天橋 我走地下道 or Overhead Bridge, Underground Pass. He wants everyone to have a clear mind when listening to this song and not feeling down or anything.

In conclusion, Derrick has really put in a lot of effort into making his debut album a success not forgetting WARNER MUSIC SINGAPORE in investing $500,000 in him.

Just like the fans, Derrick, himself had been waiting for this moment to arrive too.

He wishes those fans out there who have waited long for his debut album to be launched to buy his album.

From this album, I'm sure all of you are able to see he is a very hardworking artiste because I'm sure you all are able to see how much effort he has put it.

In addition, for those people who didn't wait or didn't have any impression of him from Project Superstar whom he was the 2nd runner up.

Derrick hopes that ...

When passing by any CD stores, he wants people to have this kind of feeling which is " Oh! This new singer or the cover of the album is quite well done! I want to buy it!"

If you people out there love the songs or the hidden messages behind the songs I've mentioned above and it did trigger your mind into buying the album, please do support him!

Or if the above scoop of the songs is somehow related to your personal life, please do take this opportunity to buy his album and take a quiet time to listen to his songs.

Honestly speaking, he has put in a lot of effort and please do show your support by buying his album!

Last of all, I hope the selling of his album would be a success!
